In 1993, Evelyn and I were accepted by Wycliffe Bible Translators as short-term missionaries. In August 1995, after more than two years of raising financial support, we finally arrived for the first time in Davao City, a bustling city in the southern Philippines. As our 10th anniversary of being missionaries approached in 2005, our three boys had a great idea of producing a 10th Anniversary issue of our newsletter, The Word Processor. Here then is the beautiful fruit of their labors: a four-page newsletter reminiscing the highlights of our 10-year pilgrimage, and looking ahead to whatever God has in store for our families.
